Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are incredibly versatile dental restorations; they can be used to protect and shield damaged or decayed teeth, and in some cases, they can even fully replace missing teeth. The crowns themselves are “caps” that are placed over the chewing surfaces of teeth. They’re designed to look and feel like underlying teeth. CEREC One-Visit Dental Crowns & Restorations
In the past, the process of receiving a dental crown or another type of restoration wasn’t exactly quick or convenient; multiple appointments were involved, as well as multiple sets of hands since an off-site dental lab was usually relied on. Dr. Crowley-Le is excited to have her very own CEREC machine here at our office, meaning she can make this process incredibly quicker and more convenient! In fact, these restorations can be created and placed in just one visit in most cases. Rest assured, they’ll still look just as natural and remain just as durable.

You may know someone with a silver tooth filling; these fillings, also called “amalgam” fillings, are made from a combination of metal alloys and tend to stick out whenever the person smiles. Tooth-colored fillings accomplished the same purpose as their traditional metal counterparts, but they’re safer due to their composite materials, as well as much more natural-looking. At our office, we can provide our patients with tooth-colored fillings that are capable of lasting for several years with the right care.
